Stupidity is a luxury.  The more separated you are from the consequences of your stupidity, the more stupidity you can survive, the more stupid you become.  Or, you can reverse the observation and state:  The closer you are to the consequences of your stupidity, the sooner and the more you pay for your stupidity, the more incentive to acquire objectivity.  The further we get from the last generation to be raised with the values and commitment to truth, right, and good, the more stupid our culture becomes.  We know that generation as the Greatest Generation.  That generation acquired its name by facing down the greatest evils of the last century and by producing the most successful economy the world has ever known.  They are the generation which grabbed onto the technology revolution with both hands and turned little ideas into great companies and generated productivity advances by leaps and bounds.  They faced the great challenges and defeated them and they ignored the most important duty they would ever have.  The duty to pass their values on to the next generation.  Their progeny were the stupid generation.  That generation which brought us the sit-in demonstration, the drop-out and drug cultures, and another return to the Utopian vision of world peace.  Why?  Because they were protected from the consequences of stupidity by their parents' wealth and blind faith in the professors to educate them with the best information and intent.  Unfortunately, those colleges were infected by the home grown communists.  Literal communists.

So, the stupid generation went to college.  Then, they went into entertainment and journalism and education.  These are three industries which do not depend on truth or objectivity.  All three industries with few exceptions, are protected from the consequences of objectivity blindness.  In education we find the hard sciences are the only place you can find conservatives and Republicans dominating on the college campus.  In entertainment, the only place you can find a conservative dominated field is sports.  Why?  Because the hard sciences are dependent on hard facts, objectivity.  The same with sports, the ball goes through the goal or the ball does not go through the goal.  It doesn't matter how many times and how well you explain the evil nature of the Jew and the Christian.  I'm sure I've mangled my attempt to title this observation by mixing Latin and French but... The defacto trifecta une betement is roughly translated 'the state of a perfect storm of foolish misinformation' resulting in full blown cultural delusion. 

When I was a kid, horror movies were truly horrific.  These days the entertainment industry creates image driven horror but back then, these movies had plots that laid out circumstances anyone could imagine themselves falling victim to such as a radio dj being stalked by a woman who appeared to be normal and in full control of her faculties, but who would set him up to be arrested and ruined if he did not meet her desires.  (Play Misty for Me)  Another was a nice looking motel which happened to have a caretaker who would kill overnighters and restore the room to normal before morning. (Psycho)  These movies took you into the lives of either the victims or the perpetrators if not both.  I bring this up because the next movie I mention is very much like the couch potato voter's experience in America today.  A woman is hired to be an office worker in an insane asylum.  She is received by the doctor and his staff and is pleased by their warm spirit.  She is set to work and goes through half the movie doing her job but finding odd things happening from time to time.  Before the movie is over, she realizes the good doctor and his staff are the inmates and the actual doctor and those remaining alive of his staff have been locked away in one of the padded rooms for weeks.  By the time this woman figures out what's going on, many of the other patients have been killed or maimed and her life is in dire jeapardy.

Let me just analagyze for a moment here.  If America is the insane asylum and socialist/communist/extremists' violence is against the founding fathers' ideals and the staff are those who hold true to those ideals, then the couch potato voters are the non-violent inmates, rather than the new hire.  A new hire would be an immigrant who values the same principals as the founding fathers.  New hires and non-violent inmates are being killed and maimed right along with the staff.  Immigrants, unsuspecting voters, and patriots to the founding fathers ideals are suffering tyrranny at the hands of the enemies of the founding fathers' ideals.  You guys helped these nuts get control of the asylum because they promised you a bunch of stuff you want, but they aren't delivering, because they can't deliver.  First they don't have the will to give you all the things they promised you.  Second, they couldn't if they tried, nobody has the resources to deliver on all those promises.  Third, even if we did have all those resources, they don't have the self discipline to deliver them because they first take everything they want.  Foruth, when you realize you aren't going to get what they promised you, the nuts are going to turn on you with all the vehemence they used on the staff.

I'm saying, America is literally headed toward becoming a communist state.  The nuts are destroying our Constitution right by right, legal precedent by legal precedent.  If the Republicans are going along, then they fall into the couch potato/non-violent role right beside you.  Their motivation is just like yours.  Personal profit.  But the modern day Liberal, the controlling force in American culture today, are literally parcing out favors and rights to promote their control and methodically destroying all the rest of our rights and wealth.  All the traditional information venues are controlled by these Modern day Liberals.  There is no police force to call in to set things right.  The framers of our Constitution wrote that right into the founding documents.  You have a right and the responsibility to ensure the government does not wrest control of our culture from the hands of those who value the framers' ideals.  Personal liberty comes with personal duty.  Your duty is to protect the individual's rights and hold government accountable to the rule of law.  If you won't, then liberty and rights are dead and the grand experiment of the culture of freedom is gone, perhaps forever more.  If we are not the next 'greatest generation' there may never be another opportunity for our children to be one.  Our only police force is you and the few who are finding other information venues like the internet are awakening to the real dangers, but it is highly unlikely enough will be motivated to act before its too late because this perfect storm of misinformation is keeping the majority either ignorant or in opposition to the steps we have to take. 

The following videos are long, approximately 35 minutes each, but you will not hear a more important message about the current condition of the Modern day Liberal's frame of mind.  Two years ago, Evan Sayet gave a speech at the Heritage Foundation that went viral and this year gave another expanding his examples.  The first video is the most recent.   If I haven't been clear enough or conveyed the dangers well enough for you to understand or believe my warnings, please listen to Evan explain the insanity we are observing in Wathington, in the media, in our kid's schools, and in the entertainment industry.

To quote Evan Sayet, "Every single medium in which there is honest open discussion, the Liberal looses.  He has to loose because he's always in opposition to the truth.  Take the same arguments the Liberals make on TV news and in the newspapers, into talk radio where they have to answer questions and they loose.  Take them to a townhall meeting or onto online debate forums and they loose.  Right?  Cable newstalk shows with representatives of both sides, they loose.  Viewers go to FOX news.  The only talk radio station they have has to have millions of dollars pumped into it by George Soros.  Their radio station is basically on welfare.  Liberal ideology cannot win in the marketplace of ideas."

In our society, the tendency to approach intellectual conflict with prejudices and with strategic attack and defense mechanisms makes open dialogue dishonest at worst and closed minded at best while providing the incentive and venue for the destruction of moral ideals.  It is a real struggle to put these 'tools' aside to find the kernels of truth in the oppositions' arguments.  If you manage to do this, you are a rare commodity.  What is required is a deep and thorough research into the topic and wading through all the discourse which has already occurred.  Assuming your opposition is ignorant, bigoted, prejudiced, and hate filled whether they are or not, closes your opportunities to discern and glean the merits of their arguments.  If there is ever to be any progress in understanding and agreement, it begins with an open mind and most importantly, a love for the truth.

The higher goal must be to acknowledge facts and truth.  This is a difficult point for our youth today due entirely to the fact that so many of our schools are promulgating another anti-wisdom mantra.  This one is known as subjective truth.  "What's true for you isn't necessarily true for me and what's true for me isn't necessarily true for you."  In point of fact, there is only and can only be one truth.  "Healthy grass is green" is not subjective.   Either its a true statement or its a false one.  Opinions are not truth.  Opinions are built on false conclusions and limited knowledge more easily than truth can be discerned from the observable facts.  However, that mantra encourages the holders of opinions built on preference rather than fact to feel as obligated to express their biased by preference opinions as readily as those who've actually dug through the evidence and thoroughly investigated the truth to gain authority on the topic.  In the interest of wisdom and good judgment, we must put aside our preferences and allow our bias to be subjected to criticism on the merits of the evidence.
 
Finally, we have to acknowledge that no one person can grasp all the facts in macro-complexity, but the best minds establish which facts give the greatest indicators of trends we may observe on a consistent basis.  This is where studies performed by professionals and scientist achieve their value.  Researchers dig up the best available information while scientist do the work of testing and observation to refute or confirm our assumptions.  On the micro scale of interpersonal relationships, we observe the behaviors of those we have relationships with and how they react to our behavior.  We lean on traditions and laws to establish which behaviors are acceptable versus repugnant.  These traditions and laws are malleable to some extent, but if we are applying micro sensibilities to macro issues, we begin to see a breakdown of traditions and laws that have proven their worth to the society as a whole.  Similarly, if we apply the macro sensibilities to our micro relationships, we act in bigoted and damaging ways to those who are nearest to us.  One wrecks society the other wrecks individuals.  Neither is acceptable.  We have to begin to train our young people in the difference between macro benefiting decisions with and micro benefiting decisions in our interpersonal relationships. 

In this endeavor, I welcome the examining and challenging of my positions so we can ascertain what is right, good and true.  Be forewarned however, I will simultaneously be evaluating your grasp of the truth.  Due to the aforementioned tactics, each of us must guard against the immoral influence of personal preference held by our opposition as readily as we guard against our own preferences and temptations to influence others with strategic tactics when our preferential and comfortable positions are untenable.  These tactical methods of argument are as natural to us as breathing.  We are raised by people and people have been arguing since the beginning of time.  So, our parents and our siblings and our neighbors are all teaching us how to 'win' an argument from the time we begin to speak.  What they aren't able to do, even if they utilize proper methods of argument is to teach us the advanced disciplined methods of keeping an open mind while simultaneously guarding against the influential strategic tactics of argumentation.  This takes discipline, this takes commitment, this takes a love of truth and places it above the justification of our preferences..

In this video we see an old discussion on the real effects of social welfare programs.  I chose this one for the stark representation of style and content of the discussion not because of political views.  Well, in complete disclosure it is in part due to my views as I have placed this video in my online library.  But that's completely beside the point.  First, we note that everybody is spouting percentages and study results, but one is presenting a defensive position not based on effect, but based on desire or motivation, the other is presenting the results of the programs and advocating either totally abolishing the programs or as I would suggest, putting them into local authority and governance.  The more local the better due to the immediate accountability of the receiving parties to the giving parties.  Again, that is beside the point.  The point of this article is to demonstrate rejection of criticism or closed mindedness.  From the outside (that is from a perspective of not having any knowledge of the issue) it appears to be like any ordinary hot debate.  Nobody is winning, everybody is disagreeing and Washington remains in permanent deadlock.  However, if we dig in to the conversation and pull apart the defense and attack mechanisms and just look at the approaches each party has taken to the problem, one identifies the errors in applied intelligence to make a bad problem much bigger and worse.

Now, this brings me to the conclusion I am trying to communicate.  Drawing from the video a demonstration of bias and commitment to the cause rather than the solution and love of truth prevents real progress.

Hillary Clinton has officially been sworn in to replace Condoleeza Rice as Secretary of State. And, now, Sharon Bulova has won Virginia’s Fairfax County Chair, left vacant by Gerry Connolly. The stage is set, and it will not be long before a public battle on behalf of America’s communities is waged by Virginia’s 10th District Representative Frank Wolf and ACT! For America’s Northern Virginia DC Metro Chapter Head Catherine Martin. Brigitte Gabriel’s ACT! For America may be the strongest new political grassroots movement to hit the American national scene in the wake of 9/11. With a 50,000 strong membership and a steady influx of new recruits and volunteers, ACT! for America’s chapters span across the United States and beyond. I recently had a chance to sit down and discuss the street level activities of ACT! for America with the NoVa/DCMetro chapter head Catherine Martin, who has made it her life mission to “educate United States citizens as to the threat of radical Islam”. With a volunteer staff of 70 committed Virginia and DC activists, Catherine Martin understands full well that her chapter is in the vortex of a brewing storm.

“The question of the legality of the Islamic Saudi Academy’s curriculum in Fairfax County is not going away,” Catherine says matter of factly. “As a mother and as an American, I find it outrageous that the school teaches children to hate Americans, Christians and Jews. Brigitte Gabriel’s ACT! for America is supporting us all the way on this mission as we continue our fight against ISA’s jihadi indoctrination right in our very own backyards - as we bring the issue directly to the people of Virginia and across America. Representative Frank Wolf has been an ally and strong advocate for us at ACT! for America. When a coalition of groups here in Virginia demanded that the Islamic Saudi Academy be investigated for having anti-American and anti-Israel teachings in their textbooks, Congressman Wolf sent four letters to the State Department requesting an investigation of the school and its curriculum. Since our grievance has not yet been fully addressed and the election cycle has ran its course, we will immediately engage the new leadership on behalf of our communities. A fifth letter from Congressman Wolf is waiting at the State Department for the incoming Secretary of State.”

When asked what this fifth letter was designed to accomplish, Martin notes that, “Hillary Clinton is replacing Condoleeza Rice in the State Department, so we now have a fresh opportunity to have our concerns heard at the State Department level. What most Virginia and DC residents are unaware of is the fact that when the original letters were issued by Congressman Wolf’s office, the State Department decided to bounce the request to the Fairfax County Supervisor, Gerry Connolly. Connolly refused to launch an investigation of the school and actually referred to ACT! for America and Representative Wolf as bigots for requesting the investigation of the Islamic Saudi Academy. Empty, racially charged, accusations from the likes of Connolly do not change the facts or the texts in question. So, we are now taking our reasoned concerns about ISA’s curriculum of hate to Hillary Clinton and are prepared, if necessary, to confront the Fairfax County Supervisor Chair, Sharon Bulova, should the new Secretary of State refuse to see the writing on the wall and attempt to evade the truth by passing the hot potato down the line. With allies like John Cosgrove over at United Action Committee, Jim and Andrea Lafferty with the Traditional Values Coalition, and Christine Brim at the Center for Security Policy rallying to defend American communities, the Islamic Saudi Academy will be forced to close its doors or submit to being subject to a transparent curriculum. ACT! For America’s battle with the ISA over its curriculum is only beginning.”

Last June 25th, Chuck Hagee noted in the Mount Vernon Gazette that “debate about the school’s curriculum was ignited in October 2007 when the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom issued a report calling for the school’s closure ‘until such time as the official Saudi textbooks used at the ISA are made available for comprehensive public examination in the United States.’” In addition to the USCIRF report, Hagee notes in a September 24th follow-up piece that “To buttress his request, Wolf included a recent report by the Heritage Foundation that stated ‘ISA is subject to the terms of the Foreign Missions Act’ and that it is within the State Department’s powers to declare ISA ‘a foreign mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.’” The article closes with Gerald Connolly remarking on the absence of Commission or State Department objection to the lease renewal to ISA or the textbook controversy in a public hearing on the matters before the Board.

When discussing the Hagee articles with Catherine Martin, I asked why nothing was mentioned of the Valedictorian of the ISA program, that was captured for attempting to assassinate President Bush. “The Islamic Saudi Academy is a private school under the umbrella of the Royal Saudi Academy and is but one of twenty Saudi funded schools in the United States.” Catherine continues, “With the mountains of evidence in the USCIRF findings and the August 2008 New English Review article Behind the Veil at the Saudi Academy by Jerry Gordon and Isabella Cruz, which relates the shocking accounts of former ISA faculty members, the implications of the assassination plot on our President would not bode well for the continued operation of all twenty of the U.S. Madrassas. But the fact of the matter is that if the Islamic Saudi Academy is revealed as a breeding ground for future terrorists against the United States and Israel then every state with a Royal Saudi Academy would voice their concern. What will it take to expose the school? What will it take to have the county refuse to renew their lease and shut them down here in Virginia? It certainly doesn’t matter to the school’s supporters (ala Gerry Connolly), that a past valedictorian was part of the nationally known paint-ball terror cell whose mission was to assassinate the President of the United States. Others who have attended the school have also supported jihad against the United States. These facts beg the question: since when is it okay for us to have a school for terrorists in the United States? The State Department has a duty to make a ruling on the ISA curriculum here in Fairfax, so that other state and county seats can properly meet the threat of radical Islam across America.”

Moving on from the ISA topic, in closing, I asked Catherine Martin what other projects were ramping up for the ACT! for America NoVa/DCMetro chapter for February. Without skipping a beat, Martin forges ahead, “For this month, the ACT! For America Northern Virginia/DC Chapter is working with the United American Committee on a major problem that is happening in our local college, George Mason University (GMU). We have discovered that GMU has taken money from the Islamic Supremacist organization IIIT to establish an Islamic Studies Chair for the school. This is the continuation of Islamist domination at GMU preceded by: the student meditation room being converted to a mosque; the installation of footbaths at the tax payer’s expense; a school treasurer using her GMU webpage to solicit donations for local madrassas; the school’s establishment of a Halal menu; and lastly, the forcing out of critical members of the staff. Our goal will be to reverse the process of Islamist influence at GMU. ACT! For America and the United American Committee will put significant pressure on GMU and elected officials this month. GMU’s acceptance of $1.5 million from IIIT will not be answered with silent assent. The ACT! For America NoVa/DC Chapter has also been invited to attend the screening of the Christian Action Network’s documentary, Homegrown Jihad: Terrorist Camps Around U.S. on February 11th at 7:30pm at the Landmark Theater in Washington DC (between 11th and E Street). The movie is about radical Islamic compounds that are currently operating around the United States under the direction of an international terrorist. We are supporting this movie and encourage everyone in the DC area to attend. Documentaries like this prove that Radical Islam is on the move in communities all over the United States.”

The following essay, adapted from the Introduction to this booklet, shows how, as early as the 1980s, operatives from the Muslim Brotherhood, parent group for al Qaeda and Hamas, formulated a blueprint for a "jihadist process" that would ultimately sabotage the "miserable house" of the United States.  These Muslim Brotherhood operatives saw that the work of undermining the U.S. could be best accomplished by the use of front groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Students Association.  But while CAIR was designed to work in the legal-cultural realm, posturing as another of the minority rights groups functioning in the public square, the MSA's role was to be restricted to college campuses, where it would advance the cause of radical Islam and lead the effort to stigmatize Israel.

As revealed in documents seized by the FBI and entered as evidence in a Texas court, the Muslim Students Association is a legacy project of the Muslim Brotherhood.[1] The Brotherhood is an organization formed by a Hitler-admiring Muslim named Hasan al-Bannain Egypt in 1928.[2] It was designed to function as the spearpoint of the Islamo-fascist movement and its crusade against the West.

The Brotherhood spawned al-Qaeda and Hamas.[3] Its doctrines make up the core of the terrorist jihad conducted by organizations such as Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Hamas and the government of Iran.[4] Its agendas have been clear since its creation: infiltration, subversion and global terror with world conquest as the goal.

…To establish one Islamic state of united Islamic countries, one nation under one leadership whose mission will be to reinforce adherence to the law of Allah...and the strengthening of the Islamic presence in the world arena....The goal...is the establishment of a world Islamic state.[5]

The first target was the “near enemy” – the Arab states that al-Banna and his followers felt had betrayed Islam. The United States – the “far enemy” – would not become a specific focus of the Brotherhood until many years later.

“Destroying Western Civilization From Within”

A formal plan for targeting America was devised three years after the Iranian revolution, in 1982.[6]. The plan was summarized in a 1991 memorandum written by Mohamed Akram, an operative of the Muslim Brotherhood. “The process of settlement” of Muslims in America, Akram explained, “is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process.’” This means that members of the Brotherhood “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”[7]

This memo surfaced in a Texas courtroom in the fall of 2007 after prosecutors introduced it as evidence in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation, once the largest Islamic charity in the United States.[8] The HLF was charged with funneling charitable donations to the jihad terrorists of the Islamic Resistance Movement, or Hamas, a Brotherhood organization that now controls the Gaza Strip. But the implications of this document go far beyond the Holy Land Foundation.

It is actually a blueprint for the subversion of American society, and the eventual imposition of Islamic law in the United States. This would mean an institutionalized oppression of women, homosexuals, and religious minorities; the end of freedom of speech and the freedom of conscience; and the replacement of democracy by theocracy.

U.S. authorities had been keeping an eye on Brotherhood operatives even before the memo surfaced. In 2001, U.S. officials accused Youssef Nada, a member of the organization, of funding terrorism.[9] Two years later, American investigators described Soliman Biheiri, a businessman in Virginia, as the Brotherhood’s U.S. “financial toehold.”

Surveying the Islamic organizations that existed in the U.S. in 1991, Mohamed Akram declared in his memo: “The big challenge that is ahead of us is how to turn these seeds or ‘scattered’ elements into comprehensive, stable, ‘settled’ organizations that are connected with our Movement and which fly in our orbit and take orders from our guidance.”

At the end of the document, Akram provided “a list of our organizations and the organizations of our friends” – apparently, those whom he believed were likewise dedicated to this great project of sabotaging the “miserable house” of American society. Surveying all these groups filled him with enthusiasm: “Imagine if they all march according to one plan!!!”[10]

Akram contemplated a network of many overlapping groups, with personnel that move from one to the other and hold positions in different organizations simultaneously—an arrangement that resembles the Communist Party’s creation of interlocking front groups during the Cold War and complicates the task of understanding and tracking the pattern of their activities.

The organizations Akram saw as advancing the Islamo-Fascist movement in America included, among many others, the Islamic Society of North America, the North American Islamic Trust, the Islamic Circle of North America, the International Institute for Islamic Thought, and the Islamic Association for Palestine – from which came the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) three years later. But perhaps the most important of these groups in terms of the long term infiltration and conquest the Brotherhood envisioned was The Muslim Students Association (MSA).

The Stealth Jihad of the MSA

Established in January 1963 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the Muslim Students Association of the United States and Canada, or MSA (also known as MSA National) currently has chapters on nearly 600 college campuses across North America.)[11] The relationship between MSA National and the individual university chapters is not a fixed hierarchy, but rather a loose connection. Thus the policies and views of the national organization may differ from those of some of the local chapters.) Stating that its mission is “to serve the best interest of Islam and Muslims in the United States and Canada so as to enable them to practice Islam as a complete way of life,”MSA is by far the most influential Islamic student organization in North America.[12]

From its inception, MSA had close links with the extremist Muslim World League, whose chapters’ websites have featured not only Osama bin Laden’s propaganda, but also publicity-recruiting campaigns for Wahhabi involvement with the Chechen insurgents in Russia. According to author and Islam expert Stephen Schwartz, MSA is a key lobbying organization for the Wahhabi sect of Islam.[14]

MSA solicited donations for the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, whose assets the U.S. government seized in December 2001 because that organization was giving financial support to the terrorist group Hamas. MSA also has strong ties to the World Assembly of Muslim Youth.[15]

Charging that U.S. foreign policy is driven by militaristic imperialism, MSA steadfastly opposes the American military incursions into both Afghanistan and Iraq.[16] The organization also follows the Arab propaganda line in the Middle East conflict and has condemned the anti-terrorist security fence that Israel has built in the West Bank as an illegal “apartheid wall” that violates the civil and human rights of Palestinians.

An influential member of the International ANSWER steering committee, MSA maintains a large presence at ANSWER-sponsored anti-war demonstrations.[17] The pro-North Korea, pro-Saddam Hussein ANSWER is a front organization of the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party.[18]

Local chapters of MSA signed a February 20, 2002 document, composed by the radical group Refuse & Resist (a creation of the Revolutionary Communist Party’s) condemning military tribunals and the detention of immigrants apprehended in connection with post-9/11 terrorism investigations.[19] The document read, in part: “They the U.S. government are coming for the Arab, Muslim and South Asian immigrants. … The recent ‘disappearances,’ indefinite detention, the round-ups, the secret military tribunals, the denial of legal representation, evidence kept a secret from the accused, the denial of any due process for Arab, Muslim, South Asians and others, have chilling similarities to a police state.”[20]

MSA has strongly opposed the Patriot Act, which it describes as an “infamous” piece of legislation. The organization’s chapters across the United States have similarly denounced virtually every other national security initiative implemented by the U.S. government since the 9/11 attacks.

MSA chose not to endorse or participate in the May 14, 2005 “Free Muslims March Against Terror,” an event whose stated purpose was to “send a message to the terrorists and extremists that their days are numbered ... and to send a message to the people of the Middle East, the Muslim world and all people who seek freedom, democracy and peaceful coexistence that we support them.”[21]

But while it is possible to understand its political orientation from some of the positions it has taken on large national issues, the Muslim Students Association comes into sharper focus in the actions of the individual chapters that do its work every day on campuses across America. The following analysis of 18 separate campus chapters of MSA will make this clear.

The conservative populace are being shut out of the conversations which guide our great culture.  I listened to a YouTube video yesterday of Sean Hannity interviewing Rush Limabugh and Rush articulated a frustration with our conservative politicians saying they 'Want Obama to succeed" and "Think they can work with this president."  They are still moving to the middle even though this past election has proven that this strategy is a big loser.  Making it clear what we mean when we say we do not want Obama to succeed, Rush explained, "If you mean we want Obama to continue Bush's policies which have kept this nation safe for the last 7 years then of course we want him to succeed, but if you mean we want him to implement his campaign promises to close GITMO and spend our way to wealth, the answer is no.  Of course we don't want to see Obama credited with fixing the economy when he is following the now proven failed attempt to spend our way to wealth as was attempted during the Great Depression.  That collapse, it is generally accepted today, was extended by as much as a decade due to those 'spend to wealth' policies.  Yet, that president is credited with having 'fixed' the economy and his programs are still in place to this day, still wasting America's wealth.  America's economy recovered in spite of those policies, not because of them.

The power elite need to hear voices like the following in order to fully wrangle through the ideas available today.

Our populace are living is such a media bubble that they forget that we are yet involved in a shooting war.  So many of us are busy shoe shopping and purchasing entertainment and distractions that some are outraged if their little dream world is disturbed with that troubling news, "Some of us are paying dearly for your dreamworld to continue."

Luke Air Force Base is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by
civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes,
forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel
at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives
somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s
that disturbed his/her day at the mall.

When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must Have stung quite a bit.

Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 A.M, a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune! Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns early bird special?

Regarding 'A wake-up call from Luke's jets' On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four- ship fly by of F-16s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt. Jeremy Fresques. Capt Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial Day.

At 9 a. m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and friend. Based on the letter writer's recount of the fly by, and because of the jet noise, I'm sure you didn't hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son's flag on behalf of the President of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women who understand the sacrifices they have endured..

A four-ship fly by is a display of respect the Air Force gives to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects.

The letter writer asks, 'Whom do we thank for the morning air show? The 56th Fighter Wing will make the call for you, and forward your thanks to the widow and parents of Capt Fresques, and thank them for you, for it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable formation of their lives.

Only 2 defining forces have ever offered to die for you....Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

The end result is a leadership that is as self deluded as the dreamers which elected them.  Somebody will pay the piper.  Somebody will have to pay the taxes for the stimulus plan.  Somebody will have to put life and limb on the line to stop the encroachment of threats foreign and domestic.  Somebody will live their entire lives under a doctrine of helplessness propagated by a leadership that believes wholeheartedly that they can't make it in this 'racist, bigoted, uncaring' culture.  Somebody will have to fight battles against power mongers to regain their freedoms and rights which were sold for rice and beans, a failing health care system, a failing farming program, and on, and on....  Somebody always has to pay.

A study highlighting the squelching of public discourse on our college campuses with speechcodes reflects what is going on in the larger environment of public discourse through our media and in the halls of our legislatures.

All of these articles represent the trend to shut down open discourse over Israel's right to exist and the benefits she affords America and the world, over the extended devastation of redistribution of wealth, over the bureaucratic cruelty of government aid programs, over the benefits or detriments of various religions, over anything worth discussing.

During this first month of the New Year 2009, we have seen some stunning developments that, considered together, should leave absolutely no doubt about the rising radical Islamic threat on our doorsteps in America.

I have been warning Americans since 2002 about this threat, and that the threat is not just confined to terrorism. This is not a “war on terror.” Terror is a tactic, one of many in the arsenal of radical Islamists.

I have been declaring, to anyone who would listen, that Islamists are well on their way to subverting and transforming Europe, and they are riding that wave here to America.

In this video, Charles Wiley explains the important role the media plays in our society to a student audience at UC Berkley.  I think its important enough to know how important that I'm going to transcribe his description word for word so those who cannot view the video can get that message.  Wiley- "The news media is the most powerful organization in our society  The news media is more powerful than the president or Congress or anybody else.  The news media decides what you think about.  They decide what you think about, what you talk to your friends, your fellow workers, your fellow students about.  The news media decide what problems we're going to try to solve, the order in which we try to solve them.  Not only do they decide the agenda and the priorities, but they decide, to a great extent also what is the framework to work within which we're going to hold the public discussion about the problems."

He goes on to define two kinds of reporters.  The Objective reporter and the Advocate journalist.  The objective reporter is trying to inform you.  The advocate journalist is trying to influence you.  There is a tremendous amount of advocacy reporting going on in the United States.

I have struggled with honesty.  I had such a secretive life prior to becoming a Christian that lies were first nature to me.  I would avoid blame at all costs and seek any avenue of convenience as long as I could avoid blame and condemnation.  Suffice it to say, I know the subtleties of lying.  It was a hard job overcoming this practice and once I learned the cost vs. benefit, I concluded the benefit far outweighs the cost.  But it required work.  I had to break patterns and habits and face consequences at the same time.  Through commitment to God, I did break them but it wasn't until the hardest part was done that I began to see the benefits.
 
A long term study was done with a class of kindergartners where the kids were all given cookies and told they could eat them now but if they waited a while they would get another cookie.  Of those who held out, the study concludes, as adults they proved to be more integritous and honest and had achieved much higher goals and many were known for their philanthropy.  On the other hand, those who held out less than a few minutes turned out to be criminals and very dishonest.  The study goes on to explain the consistent gradations between the two extremes.  So in psychological terms, I was getting negative feedback in the form of consequences immediately like the kindergarten kid in the psychology study was suffering the unmet desire but the promised extra cookie for me was the benefit of social trust if I waited. 

The last vestige of those habits and patterns was the practice of lying by omission.  You can speak a lie designed to misinform.  Everybody recognizes this as a lie.  While everybody recognizes and condemns it, many still continue the practice.  That is hipocrisy but we know how to deal with that.  You can also withhold all or portions of the storyline which allow the uninformed to draw the wrong conclusions.  The intent is the same and the results are often far more effective in convincing your audience but many do not consider this lying.  Its still a lie, you just didn't have to form the new story.  Well you do, but its a convoluted means of getting the recipient to invent for themselves a storyline or conclusion you desire them to believe.  In advocate journalism, there is a slight bend in this practice.  The self aware advocate uses this practice in full awareness that he is attempting to mislead his audience.  These are more and more numerous today.  But there is another kind of advocate I call the believer.  He is purposeful in his use of this tactic, but he doesn't believe he is misleading his audience and the result is often far subtler.  He believes he is telling them the truth without the muddling details which confuse the important conclusions we need to draw from his story.  This is the same means by which we dillude ourselves.  We begin to internally 'edit' what we observe.  Part of this process includes assuming excuses for your favored subject and assuming evil motivations for your disfavored subject, 'writing' them into the narrative. 

I am often accused of this in the commentary on my articles, but guess who makes these charges.  There is a verse in the Bible which explains who is able to correct this assumption narrative.  The blows of a friend are more faithful the the kisses of an enemy.  So let me encourage my 'friends' to please deliver blows to my articles and especially my dialogue in the comments.  I am not likely to accept the criticism of my enemies unless the criticism points to a glaring inaccuracy.  I mean, I try but the hardest part of recovering from a lying habit is this tendency to dillude one's own narrative.  (How's that for brutal honesty?  I'm sure I've just opened myself to being dismissed out of hand by my opponents.  But then, any use of this will only point to their denial of their own self dellusions.  Folks, everybody has them because everybody lies, but as a recovering liar I am accutely aware of this in myself)

These days, I am passionate about the consequences of lies.  I understand there is evil in the world and in no way do I expect this world to suddenly eliminate the evil of dishonesty and thereby usher in an utopia.  However, an industry we rely on more than any other has been largely taken over by lying advocates and the document which governs us all protects their abuse as one of our highest ideals.  This is a conundrum.  How do we protect the Constitution from the Constitution.  The only answer is personal integrity and responsibility to be informed.  Each of us have to be concerned about the power of this industry and each individual hold them accountable by rejecting their influence.  This is a difficult task and not one to be taken lightly.  Unfortunately, its not likely to be taken at all by the majority of our citizens and that means we are doomed as a culture and a nation.  Freedom is not free and every citizen must pay the price of eternal vigilance in order to maintain it.

I'm writing this on inauguration day because of my observation of the information industry and their performance over the course of the presidential election.  At no point through the entire cycle did the press perform their self described 'watchdog' service with regard to our current president.  Instead, they acted to counter the criticism of their candidate in the new media upstart on the internet.  Some of the old media's strongest critics began to refer to them as the right arm of the Democrat National Committee.  Their reporting of the 'dirt' on President Obama was naught unless that dirt had already made it into the national discourse via the new media and then we of the opposition were left perplexed with all the techniques I've described above and more, much of it glaring advocacy.  We were not perplexed by their efforts for long, but we were, and are perplexed even now at the absolute ignorance of the general populace.  Intelligent, learned people could not identify the vice presidential candidate for the Democrats.  They could not name a single accomplishment or identify one promise aside from the campaign slogan for 'change' in their candidate.  Most telling, they could not identify any of the controversial figures in their candidate's past.  This in no way reflects on President Obama but it is an indictment against the voters of our Democratic Republic who are passionately, emotionally invested but do not care enough to know what matters.  The habit of relying on the news industry for their information has created a vacuum for responsible Democratic elections which advocates have joyously filled with irresponsible Democratic influence.

Everybody refers to the United States' form of government as a Democracy.  We do not live in a Democracy.  God forbid it.  We live in a Republic.  Liberals sneer at the term Republic often referring to it as the "Banana Republic" alluding to the despotism of South American countries self titles of Republics.   Our Constitution does not contain the word Democracy.  Our founding fathers were very critical of democracies and rightly so.  Democracies are violent, short lived and less free than any limited government.  What's more, we have been taught that the spectrum of forms of government range from the far left (Communism) to the far right. (Fascism)  In truth, Communism and Fascism are sisters on the far left in terms of freedom while anarchy or zero government is on the far right.  This video lays it out with examples from history.  The American example of limited government provides the greatest degree of freedom by representative (Republican) ministration.  The founding fathers wanted to be as near to zero as possible while maintaining and orderly society which provides for the greatest amount of freedom for all.

Is America's governmental power a Right or Privilege

This is my proposal for the first case the Bench shall consider.  The Bench is a venue for 5 conservatives to consider evidence as argued for morality in line with the Constitution.  In this case, the power of the U.S. government to rule and protect its people shall be considered.  Much of what we've heard in the news over the past 8 years has been hype generated by Bush hatred from the left and the history changing media bias complicit with NGO's and PAC's operating from agendas charging the executive branch with everything from orchestrating 9/11 to torture of detainees at GITMO to bypassing the Constitution using modern technology to listen into private conversations of U.S. citizens.  We will attempt to cut through that hype to reach a consensus of our founding fathers' intentions for governmental powers and determine whether those powers are a responsibility and therefor a right or a privilege granted by the American public's ignorance or acceptance.  Keeping in mind that the next president will represent the Liberal ideology and push the envelop with regard to the precedence set by the current president, if we had the authority, would we forbid the executive branch the policies it has prosecuted over the past 8 years?  If so, which ones or to what degree?

The Marketing of Evil

Few of us realize that the widely revered father of the "sexual revolution" has been irrefutably exposed as a full-fledged sexual psychopath who encouraged pedophilia. Or that giant corporations voraciously competing for America's $150 billion teen market routinely infiltrate young people's social groups to find out how better to lead children into ever more debauched forms of "authentic self-expression."

Likewise, most of us mistakenly believe the "abortion rights" and "gay rights" movements were spontaneous, grassroots uprisings of neglected or persecuted minorities wanting to breathe free. Few people realize America was actually "sold" on abortion thanks to an audacious public relations campaign that relied on fantastic lies and fabrications. Or that the "gay rights" movement, which transformed America's former view of homosexuals as self-destructive human beings into their current status as victims and cultural heroes, faithfully followed an in-depth, phased plan laid out by professional Harvard-trained marketers.

Taking America Back

How can Americans take back their nation? The author says the only way we can reestablish our freedom, our God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is to break the hammerlock of statism and the notion that moral relativism holds the answers to ordering people's passions and behavior.

"Taking America Back" exposes the weaknesses in America's current political and cultural systems and offers practical solutions, solutions that are real and doable that can revive freedom, decency, and justice in our nation.

Theater director driven out over gay marriage

From intimidation tactics to outright violent attacks are being perpetrated on the organizations who supported Prop 8 all across this nation.  This is terrorism and in every case, if the roles had been reversed the legal actions that would have been taken not to mention the media coverage that would have been dedicated to 'informing' the public would have sparked an outrage that would have undermined any credibility of those organizations.  However, since the crimes are being committed by a protected group, the media have been all but silent and in at least one case the commentator equated the criminal activity with that of the victims of that crime calling both sides hate filled and angry.

This episode of obfuscation is but one more step toward the outright persecution and expunging of religion and conservatism in our land.  City councils have in the past condemned the religious organizations for their stance on the issue of family values in opposition to calling the same sex relationship equivalent and God ordained marriage.  We are headed for dark times in this world as believers.  Though there are official gay voices denouncing this behavior, they are being drowned out by the vast numbers of very vocal proponents of their agenda.

"We are going to see, I think, unprecedented attacks against our faith through measures like the hate crimes [legislation] to the Employment Non-Discrimination Act," he says. "We're going to see attacks on innocent human life through the Freedom of Choice Act, trying to erase all the gains that have been made in the pro-life movement. And I think even our freedoms are going to come under attack." 

Please act immediately to defend the pro-family victory won in California last week when the people of California passed a constitutional amendment (Proposition 8) by a 52%-48% margin to protect marriage as the union of a man and a woman.  Since Election Day, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) has made statements supporting demonstrations against Proposition 8, and urging California 's Supreme Court to block the amendment's enforcement.

The great cycle of faith living can be modified, interrupted, as seen in the several Jesus movements over this past century.  The Azusa Street outpouring and many other examples were exactly that.  A movement back toward Christ and the faithful church.  We who believe should first pray and then act in accordance with the Spirit who guides us.  It is very likely that the California Supreme court will again try to thwart the will of Californians to support this lobbying agenda to ruin everything this country was built upon.  Its not just the issue of homosexual marriage, its naming pornography free speech and devaluing the life of every human being.  There is so much more going on than destroying the family values that have made and kept this country strong.  Eventually, it will come down to the demonizing of our world view.
