The conservative populace are being shut out of the conversations which guide our great culture. I listened to a YouTube video yesterday of Sean Hannity interviewing Rush Limabugh and Rush articulated a frustration with our conservative politicians saying they 'Want Obama to succeed" and "Think they can work with this president." They are still moving to the middle even though this past election has proven that this strategy is a big loser. Making it clear what we mean when we say we do not want Obama to succeed, Rush explained, "If you mean we want Obama to continue Bush's policies which have kept this nation safe for the last 7 years then of course we want him to succeed, but if you mean we want him to implement his campaign promises to close GITMO and spend our way to wealth, the answer is no. Of course we don't want to see Obama credited with fixing the economy when he is following the now proven failed attempt to spend our way to wealth as was attempted during the Great Depression. That collapse, it is generally accepted today, was extended by as much as a decade due to those 'spend to wealth' policies. Yet, that president is credited with having 'fixed' the economy and his programs are still in place to this day, still wasting America's wealth. America's economy recovered in spite of those policies, not because of them.
The power elite need to hear voices like the following in order to fully wrangle through the ideas available today.
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy
out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another
person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to
anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the
other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea
that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work
for, that, my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
~~ The late Dr. Adrian Rogers ~~
Our populace are living is such a media bubble that they forget that we are yet involved in a shooting war. So many of us are busy shoe shopping and purchasing entertainment and distractions that some are outraged if their little dream world is disturbed with that troubling news, "Some of us are paying dearly for your dreamworld to continue."
Luke Air Force Base is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by
civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes,
forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel
at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives
somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s
that disturbed his/her day at the mall.
When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must Have stung quite a bit.
The complaint:
'Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base:
Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 A.M, a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune! Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns early bird special?
Any response would be appreciated.
The response:
Regarding 'A wake-up call from Luke's jets' On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four- ship fly by of F-16s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt. Jeremy Fresques. Capt Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial Day.
At 9 a. m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and friend. Based on the letter writer's recount of the fly by, and because of the jet noise, I'm sure you didn't hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son's flag on behalf of the President of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women who understand the sacrifices they have endured..
A four-ship fly by is a display of respect the Air Force gives to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects.
The letter writer asks, 'Whom do we thank for the morning air show? The 56th Fighter Wing will make the call for you, and forward your thanks to the widow and parents of Capt Fresques, and thank them for you, for it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable formation of their lives.
Only 2 defining forces have ever offered to die for you....Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

The end result is a leadership that is as self deluded as the dreamers which elected them. Somebody will pay the piper. Somebody will have to pay the taxes for the stimulus plan. Somebody will have to put life and limb on the line to stop the encroachment of threats foreign and domestic. Somebody will live their entire lives under a doctrine of helplessness propagated by a leadership that believes wholeheartedly that they can't make it in this 'racist, bigoted, uncaring' culture. Somebody will have to fight battles against power mongers to regain their freedoms and rights which were sold for rice and beans, a failing health care system, a failing farming program, and on, and on.... Somebody always has to pay.
The Palestinian Addiction is an important article explaining international behavior toward Palestine as compared to enablers of drug or alcohol addicts.
Think Tank Bubble is an important article explaining the depravity legislated into law not only here in the U.S. but throughout the Western world.
An Incendiary Error is an important article clearing up the misinformation from the Cast Lead operation Israel carried out in Gaza.
U.S. Professors to Boycott Israel is an important article reporting the U.S. professors are following in the footsteps of the U.K's professors and for the first time, proposing a boycott of Israel's academia.
Israeli Apartheid Week is an important article reporting college campuses hosting weeklong anti-Israel rallies.
The Superbowl Commercial you won't see during this year's superbowl was originally accepted, then NBC flipped and refused to air it.
A study highlighting the squelching of public discourse on our college campuses with speechcodes reflects what is going on in the larger environment of public discourse through our media and in the halls of our legislatures.
All of these articles represent the trend to shut down open discourse over Israel's right to exist and the benefits she affords America and the world, over the extended devastation of redistribution of wealth, over the bureaucratic cruelty of government aid programs, over the benefits or detriments of various religions, over anything worth discussing.

So the liberal media moguls have all the advantages of home court and still can't keep up their dispute of her facts and findings of liberal bias. Still, their aire of incredulity and discomfiture with her positions and sarcastic reprisals against the blatant and oafish assumptions leaves no question they wish they didn't have to sully themselves with such a hate mongering character.
Looking at Jews through history, we see examples of this early in the growing phases of persecution. In every case, this leads to greater and greater examples of persecution until they were either driven out or, need I say it?- killed off.
An aside. Do a search on YouTube for Ann Coulter and just in the titles you'll be struck by the number of FCC controlled words used. Dismissive, hate filled, and unusually slanderous, they often 'claim' that Ann was put to shame, but if you watch them, she does a fine job of defending her own positions as well as those of conservatism. More evidence the liberal mind cannot discern what truths and wisdom there is to be had in what they observe.
I must say, doing the research for this article was one of the most fun and entertaining projects I've done in some time. Hope you enjoy the fruits of my labors as much as I have in doing the work.
It is true that I disapprove of abortion. I know that this practice kills more than one million babies every year. I know
that those who founded its biggest provider were and are racist and sexist. I know that it harms minority communities the most and that it leaves a deep pain in the mothers of those lost children. But I don't take my disapproval and go around beating and killing either those who perform them nor those who receive them. That is what would demonstrate hate. My faith instructs me to invite them to join me in this faith so they can learn to value life the way I have learned to.It is true that I disapprove of the homosexual lifestyle. I know that this behavior is self destructive and millions of people suffer damage and disease to their bodies in its practice. I know that the gay lobby in America is pushing its acceptance into every corner of our culture including our schools' kindergartens. I know that this push is making our children's gender identity malleable and perverting their innocent psyches before they are ready for knowledge of such things. I don't take that disapproval and go around beating and killing homosexuals. That is what would demonstrate hate. My faith instructs me to invite them to join me in this faith so they can learn that this behavior is harmful to our society as well as to themselves.
It is true that I disapprove of the religion of Islam. I know that this religion has not been hijacked, that it practices the concept of justifiable deception, and that it requires its followers to institute world wide Sharia Law. The same law that requires unequal treatment of women, blacks, and unbelievers. I don't take that disapproval and go around beating and killing Muslims. That is what would demonstrate hate. My faith instructs me to invite them to join me in my faith so they can learn the source of real peace rather than Islam's brand of violent domination and overthrow of differing faiths and governance.
It is true that I disapprove of socialism. I know that this is the stepping stone toward Communism, Maoism, and basic despotism including regimes like Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Polpot, and countless others. I have studied a little history and seen that the end of this ideology of building a utopia on earth is always, always the last step before re-education camps, Gulags, genocides, and so-called freedom wars against free and successful societies. I don't take that disapproval and go around beating and killing socialists. That is what demonstrates hatred. My faith instructs me to invite socialists to join me in this faith so they can learn that people are inherently evil and must fight their own natures so they can live together in peace.
Hatred is not demonstrated in critical speech just because the speech is critical. Hatred is demonstrated in speech and actions that intend harm. Actions like keying cars, stealing burning or otherwise destroying political yard signs spray painting threats onto a candidates garage door firebombing a billboard or any of a hundred other examples is a form of intimidation. Actions which intimidate others for their views is an abuse of their right to freedom of speech. Hatred is demonstrated in speech which is intended to intimidate as well. Do not confuse hatred with an opposing view on what's good for our culture and society. Do not equate criticism with hatred.
Remember Berkley City Council attempting to kick the recruiters out of the city? They aren't done abusing their authority yet. Here's a representative of Vets for the War in Iraq being interviewed by Glenn Beck. Glenn is reporting on Berkley's Council decision to grant Code Pink a specified parking permit directly in front of the Marine's recruiting center in Berkley.
Remember what it took to make the city council back off of their attempt to have the Recruiters thrown out? The uproar by all Americans and their insistence that Berkley's federal subsidies be canceled. Perhaps they still need to be canceled. This is an abuse of their authority to express their personal feelings toward the military personnel. This also demonstrates their hypocrisy in stating they are for the troops but against the war.
In Hollywood, if you want to work, you had better keep your conservative opinions to yourself. People invited to participate in an answering documentary to Michael Moore's attack on conservatives all backed out in fear for their careers. To quote one Hollywood conservative when asked why we couldn't meet in the middle, He replied, "The left have gone so far left that if we attempted to meet them in the middle, we would actually be left of center. At some point we have to actually stand up for what we believe in." Those with the power in Hollywood make it so difficult to find work for the conservatives they literally create an unwritten blacklist of performers and technicians to deny access to the jobs available. The result is proving this is the case. Every millitary movie out of Hollywood in recent memory paints the military as uneducated, glory hounds, or evil racist hicks. Its disgusting what they do to the reputation of the best this country has to offer. This military are the best educated, the most honorable people in our society, but Hollywood does not care to know the facts.
And still, nobody in the big three ever challenged him on that claim until weeks later when the man had already had time to have his advisors go through the polls to find out how it flies. Then when he is subtley asked about his statements, he retracts them.
