In my most recent article, I put to you the facts about the media control of our society using a form of lying without lies. Today, I want to provide a clear example of how this is accomplished. Any example I raise will, of course, be a controversial topic, so I'm not arguing the issue here. I'm only presenting the issue as an example of a political position held by the media across the board and how easy it is to spot it. That doesn't make it any easier to defeat because most people don't bother to look up the information for themselves. That's the point. We are dependent on the information industry to inform us, but they have chosen to abuse their positions and influence us.
Over at the gunlaws.com an article placing the blame for disinformation squarely on the shoulders of media and journalists provides that clear and damning case against the information industry. This specific example demonstrates how the industry is preventing the national discourse from addressing the real problems causing death and loss of property and wealth in our society. They know they are causing death and destruction and use the same death and destruction to rile us up and demand action by our politicians for their own agenda.
Gunshot Demographics
The ugly underbelly of the anti-gun-rights position
How "The Bad Part of Town" and failed social policies
are used for sinister attacks on the right to keep and bear arms.
While anti-rights activists speak emotionally about
"gun violence""gun deaths" "human tragedy" and saving lives,
what they refuse to say is this—
Homicide in America has demographic, geographic, social and economic factors
which, if acknowledged and openly discussed, would transform the debate,
and place blame where it really belongs:
on the causes and people that fuel the violence we hear about
(but rarely actually see for ourselves, except on TV "news")
.
The real blame is hidden, because the truth is so painful.
Crime is not spread across the streets of America.
Crime, and crime using guns, happens in isolated areas
for well known reasons the media and politicians hide from you.
But, it's useful to blame guns instead of criminals,
and blame guns instead of politicians and social policies,
and blame guns instead of festering pesthole neighborhoods,
in the effort to disarm the public and transfer power
to the government and away from the people.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
Thank you, Baltimore Sun newspaper,
for posting the interactive maps
that define the problem clearly—at last
(blue is choking, green is blunt force, red is shooting,
black is stabbing, white is undetermined) :

BALTIMORE: All homicide victims, 2007

BALTIMORE: Black homicide victims, 2007

BALTIMORE: White homicide victims, 2007
Try the maps yourself:

The "gun problem" is not about guns.
It's about people, select groups of people.
This isn't a stereotype, it's a fact.
These Baltimore Sun maps show a terrible problem
but do not clarify who the murderers are.
Police have those maps.
Blame the newspaper for letting the dirty little secret out—
it’s not a gun or murder problem, it’s a demographic problem.
Is "demographic" a code word for "the bad part of town"?
Public Enemy Number One Defined:
Many of these aren't "gun deaths" at all, they are "war deaths."
It's the endless fruitlesss government-run War On Some Drugs.
It's a declared war. Combatants in the war are killing each other.
End the war, declare a truce, call for an armistice—
Watch a large part of the "gun problem" fade away.
But that would hurt the effort to disarm the public,
so don't expect it to happen any time soon.
Thank you Chicago Tribune for doing the same thing:

CHICAGO MURDERS BY AREA, 2008
Chicago Tribune Data and Map
Public Enemy Number One Officially Identified:
In a story almost without precedent, CBS identified Chicago’s high murder rate as almost totally gang related and geographically isolated. In modern America, that identifies these as war deaths in the War on Some Drugs, and not “gun deaths” as the media likes to frame the argument (to vilify firearms and create public fear).
With surprising candor, CBS announced, “Gang and gun violence continue to be the dominating threat on our streets," according to a police e-mail to CBS. "Up to 60 percent of the shootings are gang related. More than 90 percent of the offenders have criminal histories and up to 80 percent of the victims have criminal histories."
It’s unclear how the police concluded that only 60% of these crimes are gang related, when 90% of the shooters have criminal records and 80% of the victims do too. It’s also a fairly typical police distortion to suggest gun violence is the dominant threat “on our streets” when these gangland rubouts happen on their streets (see map), and normal citizens who have fled the crime-ridden war zones only get to see it on the "news" from the “bad” neighborhoods. Just look at those maps. CBS compares Chicago’s rubout rate to the wars against islamofascists in Iraq and Afghanistan, which is just bad reporting.
And about that "War on Some Drugs"
Next time you get the chance, ask your elected leaders:
With regard to the war on drugs, is the war succeeding? When could it be declared a success, the expense of waging it cease, and the tax-based infrastructure surrounding it be decreased or dismantled? If it can't be declared a success, when might it be declared a failure and brought to a close? How do you respond to critics who say the war on some drugs is really just a federal-agent jobs program that provides price supports for the cartels? From intimidation tactics to outright violent attacks are being perpetrated on the organizations who supported Prop 8 all across this nation. This is terrorism and in every case, if the roles had been reversed the legal actions that would have been taken not to mention the media coverage that would have been dedicated to 'informing' the public would have sparked an outrage that would have undermined any credibility of those organizations. However, since the crimes are being committed by a protected group, the media have been all but silent and in at least one case the commentator equated the criminal activity with that of the victims of that crime calling both sides hate filled and angry.
This episode of obfuscation is but one more step toward the outright persecution and expunging of religion and conservatism in our land. City councils have in the past condemned the religious organizations for their stance on the issue of family values in opposition to calling the same sex relationship equivalent and God ordained marriage. We are headed for dark times in this world as believers. Though there are official gay voices denouncing this behavior, they are being drowned out by the vast numbers of very vocal proponents of their agenda.
Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council
"We are going to see, I think, unprecedented attacks against our faith
through measures like the hate crimes [legislation] to the Employment
Non-Discrimination Act," he says. "We're going to see attacks on
innocent human life through the Freedom of Choice Act, trying to erase
all the gains that have been made in the pro-life movement. And I think
even our freedoms are going to come under attack."
Please act immediately to defend the pro-family victory won in California last week when the people of California passed a constitutional amendment (Proposition 8) by a 52%-48% margin to protect marriage as the union of a man and a woman. Since Election Day, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) has made statements supporting demonstrations against Proposition 8, and urging California 's Supreme Court to block the amendment's enforcement.
There are political streams of thought that would deny the church the freedom to speak the truth as it understands it. If that happens, can the age of martyrs be far behind?
Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it! Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
History Of Man: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to
great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from
abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency
to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage –
Alexander Tylers
The great cycle of faith living can be modified, interrupted, as seen in the several Jesus movements over this past century. The Azusa Street outpouring and many other examples were exactly that. A movement back toward Christ and the faithful church. We who believe should first pray and then act in accordance with the Spirit who guides us. It is very likely that the California Supreme court will again try to thwart the will of Californians to support this lobbying agenda to ruin everything this country was built upon. Its not just the issue of homosexual marriage, its naming pornography free speech and devaluing the life of every human being. There is so much more going on than destroying the family values that have made and kept this country strong. Eventually, it will come down to the demonizing of our world view.
Yes sir, we held the line. Those elitist judges didn't get to make that law stick. The law they legislated from the bench. We've amended the California state constitution to specifically define marriage as between one man and one woman. Other states also held the line during this election cycle as well. In fact, everywhere it was placed before the people, Red state, Blue state, it didn't matter. The people want marriage defined as between one man and one woman.
So that's it. The fights over, right? Not if the agenda driving gay lobby has any say in the matter.Americans for Truth
Homosexual Zealot Clay Rooker Warns Family Activist Linda Harvey: ‘You Are Being Watched!’
November 11th, 2008
Threatens: “jeebus-lovin-christers’ rights will slowly be taken away one by one”
Well, it looks like Prop 8’s passage in California has brought out the homo-fascist element within the larger “queer” activist movement. Below, anti-Christian Clay Rooker — who has soured our pages before with his bile — attempts to intimidate our good friend, Linda Harvey, founder of Mission America and a regular commentator on the Moody Broadcasting Network.
Now that’s no way to treat a lady, Clay, especially a classy one like
Linda who has done yeoman’s work in educating America about the
aggressive homosexual youth agenda. — Peter LaBarbera
Rooker sent the following hate-email to Harvey:

Comments: You are very much being watched! All you
jeebus-lovin-christers rights will slowly be taken away one by one the
more you try to press your beliefs down our throats. Beware. We are
everywhere and you will never know it. Watch your mouth. Watch your
actions. We are watching them my friend and we are many and we are rich
and we are very well educated and very powerful. …
And then there's this story from the same site.
Homosexuals Call for Violence against Christian Supporters of Prop 8
November 6th, 2008Surprise, surprise. Some “queer” activists are revealing their homo-fascist tendencies in the wake of the passage Tuesday of the pro-traditional-marriage amendment Prop 8 in California. Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel — who is also a Board Member of Americans For Truth about Homosexuality — issued the release below exposing the intolerance of some homosexual opponents of Prop 8.
The two web posts shown here are copied from the vicious homosexual activist website “Queerty” (which is no fan of AFTAH either). To be fair, there were also posts from homosexual activists — including “gay” icon Frank Kameny — condemning the violent statements. Said Kameny mockingly:
Yes, isn’t it wonderful that all these wonderful boys and girls who fly their rainbow flag and talk about “tolerance” would advocate violence against institutions and people that didn’t vote their way in an election, i.e. the free exercise of DEMOCRACY.” Fidel [Castro] and Hugo [Chavez] would be oh so proud.
The despicable “Queerty,” posts are among the “comments” to a Queerty post titled, “You’ll want to punch them” — showing Prop 8 backers celebrating on election night. Queerty’s webmaster has not removed these two postings even after Barber sent out his release criticizing them yesterday. WorldNetDaily reports on the “gay” anti-Prop 8 intolerance HERE.
Now just imagine the outcry if a Christian site left up a comment from a guy calling on readers to burn down a “gay” church. — Peter LaBarbera

They aren't through yet folks. This fight is not yet over. President Elect Obama is making his cabinet ready and has already established an open door for gender confused and sexually perverse federal employees to be protected groups. Read the full story here.
I was cruising around the net and came across this little gem over at BoredStop. Given the candidates' financial statements and record of giving and their voting records and the policies they advocate, this statement sums them up tidily.
http://www.amazon.com/Takes-Village-Hillary-Rodham-Clinton/dp/0684825457
Hillary Clinton wrote a book a decade ago called, "It Takes a Village." The premise is that parents cannot be held solely responsible for the upbringing of their children. This much is true and I agree wholeheartedly that teenagers especially, but children in general must be held accountable for their behavior by whoever catches them in their unacceptable behavior on the spot. I take this very seriously and act personally on this principal. Funny enough, I saw an example in a Hollywood movie called 'Second Hand Lions' that cemented this principal in me.
A few weeks ago I was driving through a nice neighborhood on a very quiet street in the middle of the day when something thumped against my vehicle. I quickly checked my rearview mirror and saw a nerf football bouncing around on the pavement. Looking around, there wasn't a soul in sight. I still hadn't come to a complete stop so I immediately decided to keep going. Before I'd traveled 6 houses along the street I thought better of it and decided to pull over where the street curved and watch what happened where the ball rested. It didn't take but a minute or two and there they were, about five pre-teen boys creeping out into the street to retrieve their ball. They didn't hang around to continue their play but slipped back behind the backyard fences to wait for another car to come along. Sure enough, the next car had the ball bouncing off the side of it as it passed the house.
I turned around and headed back down to the house and they saw me and broke in three different directions. When I got there and stepped out they were well out of sight. Rather than call the police and make a much bigger deal of it than it had to be, I called out to them that I wanted to talk to them.... no answer. I waited a few seconds them said, "You can talk to me or you can talk to the police!" That did it. Three of them came out to face my wrath rather than have names recorded, addresses noted for trouble makers and parents ire lit to the heavens. At first they tried to deny they'd done anything, then tried to claim it was an accident, but I wasn't having any excuses. I described who and what I saw in as clear detail as I could muster then proceeded to chew them up one side and down the other about endangering drivers, about common courtesy, and about their use of time. If I were involved in any sort of youth activities, I would have talked to their parents about involving them in my program. As it was, I let the scare of my anger and the 'could have been' consequences ride their reasoning abilities. The worse they can imagine and the less you explain what those consequences might be, the better. I didn't have to press charges, I didn't have to hit anybody, and I didn't have to press their parents to "do something." All I had to do was express my intolerance of their abusive behavior, but it has to be done on the spot, when it happens. This is love, not ignoring them, and not pressing the advantage because you're in the right.
Another time, some teens had taken somebody else's wheeled trash can and drug it along the street beside their speeding vehicle to slam it into my garbage cans. These kids were videoing their handy work to post it on the web. They were finding glory in their mis-behavior. (following the influence of the movie 'Jackass' no doubt.) This is far worse behavior for society and is the same mindset that has lone gunmen walking into schools to shoot kids and faculty en masse so their story will be plastered all over national and international news. This is where you call the police and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. Judges and defenders are wrong to write this off as 'just kids' stuff' when they are glorifying it on YouTube. This too, is love. Measuring your response based on what is best for all of society, those who would harm it, what would correct it. Not assuming they will get their due, not allowing glory to Jackass copycats, and not chasing them down with a baseball bat to damage their property, (car) in retaliation for damaging your property.
Back to Hillary's book, she doesn't want to just uphold the common decency standards we can all agree on. She is talking about state run programs expanding educational and Child Protective Services' authority and using it to enforce her standards on our children and their parents. If you don't find that scary, consider the results of every government run social program to come out of Washington. What has welfare done to the biggest recipient group, inner city blacks? What has Social Security, whose funds were stolen by the welfare program, done to retirement planning and the social responsibility we must have for our own futures? What has federally funded education and it's requirements done for our kids' ranking in the world? What has price regulation done for fuel supply? (repealed within one year due to shortages in the 1970's) I could go on, but I'd only be repeating myself from earlier articles on this blog. Imagine if you will, the parenting police ensuring you are teaching your children according to state proclaimed standards or worse, keeping your kids in various after school programs to give you less access to them. That was Hillary's vision in the book, but stated in softer tones and covered over with examples of the inevitable atrocities committed by so few parents against their own children in relation to the norm.
Add to this authority the propensity of groups like the Lesbian/Gay/Trans-sexual Lobby foisting their agendas upon parents under the threat of removing the children from your home and incarcerating you if you refuse. Last week, a three judge panel in the Los Angeles area gave a ruling effectively dissolving all California parents' option of home schooling unless they can become accredited teachers. This in the face of the fact that home schooled kids consistently rank at the top of 4th and 8th grades according to a government sponsored study and are preferred recruits for college. Hillary's agenda is dangerous and there are plenty of co-conspirators within our courts, within our Federal and Local Government, and among the lobbyists.
