Transmogrified No More

Only someone in denial, corrupted or born yesterday would affirm that Obama has reached across the aisle, or is concerned with the welfare of Americans or the economy, or that what his critics say is made up.

Too many facts tell us otherwise. While it's true that any administration has had its problems, this one is corrupt through and through.

During one of the campaign's interviews O. said we should judge him by the people he associates with. Putting aside Wright and Ayers, if we look at his appointees in every facet of government, the unprecedented creation of over 32 czars, the groups he worked with in the past and continues to work with presently (ACORN, SEIU, Unions. And the list goes on) people with a modicum of honesty and half a brain cannot but conclude he is at least a liar, at worst purposely, actively pursuing the destruction of our country.

We don't need to be mind-reader to know his ideology. It comes through through the things he touts, his policies and the dismissal of those who raise questions he either doesn't answer or by ad homs.
my blood is boiling. I'm not mad at ACORN or at the extreme left. Evil has always been with us. I'm pissed at the good people who do nothing or next to nothing. Evil has been allowed the controls. Now its down to the grass roots to pull the plug on evil. Now, we have a civil war brewing again and I'm not speaking in metaphors.
obama has welcomed every kind of extremist into his white house, most of his picks should be in jail not just for their desires to turn human kind into a herd of animals, but a complete disregard for the laws.should joe wilson get up and say he's sorry.if thats all they want is for him to say he's sorry for his outburst,i'd say go ahead, get it over with.but your a little older then me,wasn't there a dem who did the same thing and he never got called on it.
Timothy posted something about a Dem heckling George Bush and never any apologies forthcoming. My point was that the apology the Republicans called on Joe Wilson to give was the end of a great opportunity for the Republicans to speak to the press and get the word out that OBAMA was lying and slandering them in his speech.
I love your use of the word Transmogrified! Excellent article!
that chance has passed thanks to mccain and a few others ,i'm wondering if they have it on tape.i have been reading that the dems are rushing to make sure they scrub the bill of any chance of illegals getting free healthcare
Personally, I am disgusted at Repubs jumping on one of their own to force a resignation, apology. Gimme a break!! Liberals are on record saying some of the vilest things against President Bush and NO apologies.

Joe Wilson apologized to the prez [yuk] for his WELL-DESERVED outburst. He even apologized to the chamber and Pelosi when asked said "no disciplinary action would be taken." She lied! But then she lied about the CIA not being forthcoming. Obama has been lying about everything. He said they were not going to investigate the CIA. Lie! Everything he states about what this H.C. reform will accomplish or not, is a bald-face lie.

For once, I am glad someone got the guts to call it what it is: the emperor has no clothes!
Joe Wilson should NOT apologize to Congress. He should be reelected to his job, because he is not playing games.
The idiots, otoh, should make better use of their time and taxpayer money. Like, I don't know, investigate ACORN? Stop all funding to ACORN? Call for the President to stop abusing his post and appoint czars?

I can't wait for 2010!
Repubs still don't get the fact that there's a brand new game in American politics. The left have pushed decorum over the cliff along with personal integrity and all accountability save the big scandal. The media is instrumental in hiding or downplaying the Dem's scandals and up-playing the conservatives' scandals. We, the new media have to find a way to reach the people aside from the MSM. Its on us. We have to make the difference or this country is done.
They'd better. Its already a scandal, but the media aren't exposing the scandalous bits, they're too busy trying to tie the conservatives to a scandal.
[this is good]
Over the weekend what the media wanted to focus on was the "outrage" of Wilson's remarks. Some republicans got derailed, others like Ann Coulter, Beck Rush, keep taking the message back where it belongs: Obama's admin corruption and collusion with the media.

I got irritated last night listening to stupid Geraldo whining about 'name-calling.' Wish Fox hadn't given a pulpit for his stupid propaganda.
But... Fox is balanced!!

Joe apologized? He should have stood up and finished the job of calling him out on his string of lies and slander using this political tactic of redirecting the criticism he so richly deserves. Weak, Joe Wilson and a shameful excuse for a representative of conservative values. Weak, Republicans for encouraging Joe to apologize. Weak, Dennis Prager for claiming Republicans lose respect because of Joe's outburst when he was answering the slander and lies of Barack Obama on the spot. You demonstrate why I don't want to be associated with Republicans any longer. You're weak and tepid passion for the job we send you there to do is pissing me off.

AMEN, brother Bob! Me too! This is the problem with the Republican party as is (thanks Michael Steele), and why I refuse to support them anymore. Where are the strong conservatives that will stand on principle and not apologize for the truth?

They're moving to the TEA Party along with fed up Democrats and Independents. They're now calling themselves 'RID's' for two reasons. Republican, Independent, and Democrat majority and get RID of the game playing divisive politicians.

The Joe Wilson flap is a prime example of what that last means. Obama, standing there calling conservatives liars and divisive gamers gets challenged by Joe and the scandal is Joe. The media don't get it. The extreme liberal left in the administration don't get it, the controlling forces in Washington on both sides of the aisle don't get it and WE THE PEOPLE are fed up. Its coming to a civil war because nobody in leadership is either listening or really caring beyond how they can make political hay out of the 'grass-roots.'
[this is good]
Great article. I agree, I am just at a loss for what to do. I am so mad and just plain angry, but I don't know what to do about it. I went to a Tea Party Express in Brighton, MI and met many people feeling the same way. They are almost as disgusted with this current crop of Rhino's as they are with the Dems. The worst prob I see as we have no power with the RNC and they are the ones who promote the candidates. They will continue to place before us a platter of Rhinos for us to swallow, when we really need true conservatives with spunk and not afraid of a good fight.
I'm at a loss. I know the TEA parties have the means and the momentum to create a third major party in US politics and that will doom conservatism. If they win (and they may) they will solidify their cred and that spells 'split' for the conservative movement. At a minimum, they will siphon off the conservative vote from the pretender conservative party. The only hope for avoiding this major split is to bring the GOP under the umbrella of the TEA party. How likely is that?
if the major players in the republican party would come out tommorow in support of the tea party movement,2010 would be a lanslide for the republican party.
I think the 2010 will prove to be a backlash against the Dem controlled congress now that we have all these videos of their conduct over the past 3 to 5 years. Mid-term elections tend to be less nightly news affected and less trafficked by milk toast voters. Its 2012 that I'm concerned with.
