Glad I tuned in - almost shut it down in the first few seconds, but knowing you there had to be a good reason. Thanks.

The origins of many of the techniques and views of the German "National People's Socialist Party" or NAZI party came from US "progressivism" in the early 1900's. Things like Eugenics (population control through controlled breeding, government health-care, and abortion), "State-ism" (the idea that only a select fell intellectuals are qualified to govern, and that the populous is too stupid), and the need to destroy the family unit so the state can raise and indoctrinate children all sadly originated here in the United States of America, including propaganda techniques.

President Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt were both "progressives" although Wilson was the worst of the two whole-heartedly adopting progressive principles; whereas FDR adapted them to his views.

This is completely ironic, as Hitler embraced the Wilsonian types of liberal progressivism (the same kind Hillary Clinton says she subscribes to) and took them to their conclusion (genocide), both maintained the root philosophy of government socialism.

Oddly enough, Obama's chief scientist subscribes to THE SAME ideas of eugenics and population control that Wilson and Hitler did.

If you go and study history, real history (not that edited crap they are teaching your children), you'll find out that the EXACT steps Hitler took to usurp power from the German Republic, are exactly what Obama is doing now. It's a formula that worked before throughout history for people wanting power.

Hitler was a smooth talker. People loved him. They cried at his speeches. The press would get "tingling up their legs" when they heard him. He said what the people wanted to hear and not what he was going to do (although Hitler didn't need a teleprompter). Hitler made his changes and "rescues of the economy" so quickly that before people realized what just happened, he was already the dictator/Supreme Chancellor.

His own brown-shirts and other government sympathizers helped to destroy the German economy so he could swoop in under the disguise of "rescuing" it. He first took over banks, then automobile company's forming a central "Volkswagon" government car company making "Beetles" as the flagship model. He only took over large banks, utilities, and raw materials companies. This was carefully planned as he saw that Stalin's method of outright communism was destined to failure due to Stalin murdering the skilled people. Hitler chose a fascist approach, which gives the people the illusion of private ownership, but since the government controls the electricity, the loans, health care, and raw materials, they could dictate what you made and what you could sell anyway.

The biggest achievement Hitler had, besides his obvious initial military achievements, was to get the press to be his willing, yet ignorant accomplices. They declared, in Germany, that "Capitalism is a failure", even though it was socialist government rules that collapsed what was left of capitalism.

In a move straight out of the movie series "Star Wars" (now you know where Lucas got the idea, and it wasn't Dune), the secret usurper gained his power by claiming to need "special powers" to fight the war (in our case, bad economy) and that he would humbly give them back when all is settled. What Hitler (and Palpatine) actually did was to dissolve the legislature (parliament/Senate) and declare himself the Fuhrer (emperor). Anyone that objected, now that he was in power, with a lot of support, they would be executed. Their Constitution was summarily destroyed and burned with the rest of the books that weren't Nazi-approved.

Oh, one last thing. Hitler's main slogan was "Change".
That's an old post of Zo's aka "MachoSauce", but I never get tired of hearing him. He's got some new stuff on YouTube (I subscribe), under "ZoNation" that I highly recommend.

Bob I finally got around to listeing to this vid. It is truly awesome!
If I'd had time to write an article with this video, this is pretty close to what I would have written albeit with less real information. Thanks for substantiating the vid.
Zo has had my attention for a while now. I was just able to catch up on what he's been up to this weekend. PJTV + Zo is a good fit. His work looks so much better now and I think the content has improved as well. Doesn't hurt to keep bringing up the original work he's done, though. He is a Glenn Beck in the making and keeping his roots in mind is beneficial to the work he's doing now.
If you don't know Zo, I recommend you subscribe to his videos. Part of his popularity is built on his silliness but most of it is the serious points he makes directly to his liberal followers. He is using this venue to answer the prejudices against conservatism and Republicans.
Good to see I still have some readers with my limited time these days. It may take a full year to get my time back and another opportunity to get into the depths of the issues again. I've tried several times to work on posts and long debate comments only to have them wiped out by auto-updates rebooting my computer while it sits idle waiting for me to pick it up again. Very frustrating.
Another one of Zo's vids has him explaining that the problems with conservatism is not conservative principals but unprincipaled conservatives which makes them liberals by default. George held the line on national defense and dropped the ball on spending. Obama makes an unprincipaled Republican look like an Old Testament prophet when it comes to spending. Billions in pork and bad ideas for government growth up next to trillions in pork and bad ideas for government growth.
Yours is one of the few blogs I'm still trying to keep up with because those quotes have such value in my discussions off-line. Keep up the good work.
i'd be carefull with the guy in this video some people are saying he's a part of the same internet gang that went after scientology.not always good or bad but erratic.
I've been following this guy's work for about 6 months now. The closest I've seen him get to religious stuff is to mention that he is a Christian. What do you mean, "went after scientology?"

I have a friend who grew up in prewar Germany during Hittler's dictatorship, and she had anything but a happy or secure childhood. however, she still has some wrong ideas about Jews, which were instilled in her during those days.
